A new member of the business community cut the ribbon at the site of a much watched corner in Orleans.

04 October 2024 - ORLEANS, MA - Months of speculating about the future of the highly visible  former H&K site in Orleans officially ended as a new-comer bank cut the ribbon on September 27. National heavy hitter Chase completed its new building and joined the local community, opening its first Cape Cod location. 

How will a national company serve a local community?

Branch manager Patrick Smith said the bank wanted a central local on Cape Cod and saw Orleans as year round location for Chase's new footprint in the region. In addition to adding the business mix in the expected banking services, it says it understands the role it can play in the community and expressed a willingness to partner with Housing Assistance Corp and others specifically on housing issues.
