Since 1949, Mental Health Month has provided a focal point to increase awareness of mental health and wellness in American lives. In May, Lower Cape TV produced a series of reports on mental health and wellness on Cape Cod to acknowledge the importance of mental and behavorial health in our region. This page contains this series, as well as prior reporting and interviews about mental health and wellness.
With both increased need for and awareness of mental health issues, the Commonwealth rolled out a new roadmap for mental health services this year.
Additionally, Cape Cod gained a Community Behavioral Health Facility (CBHC) that integrates with Bay Cove's mobile response team.
