What is changing at Brewster fire?
11 October 2024 - BREWSTER - After 14 years, Brewster fire chief Robert Moran has retired. He oversaw the department through major changes, including threading a political needle build a new award winning station on time and under-budget.
How did the community say good-bye?
On October 11, the department held a farewell ceremony for the departing chief - who said an emotional thank you for his years in the community and reflected on the changing, including the challenge of bringing the new fire station to a successful opening.
Who is the next chief?
Current deptuty chief Kevin Varley will be stepping in to chief role following Chief Moran's departure.
