"For the past five years or so we have been receiving over 1800 animals a year and in the summer months when we get most of our baby animals we are just bursting at the seams ...."

— Stephanie Ellis
Executive Director, Wild Care

What is Wild Care building?

The framing rising into the sky at the Orleans rotary on Cape Cod represents a leap forward for nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization Wild Care. The group recently broke ground on its new building and says the additional space will help it better care for the thousands of injured critters the arrive on its doorstep.

When will the new space be completed?

Wild Care executive director Stephanie Ellis say the new building should be ready for use by early summer, just in time for the surge in injured animal babies that arrive on their door step. The new space will serve as an intake and education area as well as a consolidated cleaning area.
