Cape Cod National Seashore began work on a Province Lands Bicycle Trail expansion project this March, with the goal of improving bike safety and increasing accessibility to other areas of Provincetown.

What does the Province Lands Bicycle Trail project include?

The project includes two parts:

1. The restoration and reopening of a ⅓-mile path between the Beech Forest parking area and Provincetown Transfer Station.
2. The construction of a new, ¼-mile path parallel to the end of Route 6 near Herring Cove Beach.
