Soup Bowls Return

Lower Cape News editorial staff

Once again the community gathers to break bread together, enjoy soup in beautiful bowls, and combat hunger on the Cape.

"We have people that have whole cabinets  - and they are proud to say that they have a soup bowl from every year it's been held...."

Christine Menard,
Executive Director, The Family Pantry of Cape Cod

What is Soup Bowls For Hunger?

After a COVID-hiatus, the long-time collaborative fundraiser Soup Bowls for Hunger returns to the new Cape Tech culinary arts space. The event brings together the Cape Cod Potters, Cape Cod Tech, and the Family Pantry to raise funds to combat food insecurity on Cape Cod.

For more than 30 years Soup Bowl for Hunger has brought together Cape Cod Potters, the Cape Cod Tech culinary program, and The Food Pantry to serve soup in beautiful bowl, bring the community together to break bread, and tackle hunger in the region. The relaunched event takes place in the new Cape Cod Technical High School campus in Harwich and features three seatings and vegetarian and non-vegetarian soups.
